Cancellation & Refund Policy

Bay Area Sailing School will refund any deposits received within the first seven days after the deposit is made or until one starts the class, whichever come first. The refund will be less any shipping charges. Also, the cost of any materials will not be refunded unless the materials are returned in unused and new condition. Material fees will be refunded upon receipt of the materials in unused and new condition. If payment is made by check, the refund will be issued upon the check clearing our bank.

After seven days, the deposit can be applied to other courses and gift certificates with Bay Area Sailing. The deposit amount can also be applied to charters with Sackett's Sailing Center. No refunds of amounts received will be available after seven days except as gift certificates for Bay Area Sailing School and Sackett's Sailing Center.
